Directions on How to Navigate the JA Inspire Career Expo

These are the main areas that make up the virtual career fair:

In February 2024, click here to find a quick video walking you through the platform.

  • Lobby: This is where you enter the career fair and access all its resources. The major sponsors are represented here.
  • Information Desk: Need help? You can learn how to navigate and use the features of the event, get technical help, find listings of exhibitor booths (organized by career cluster), and find listings of speakers and webinars.
  • Exhibit Halls: You will find exhibit halls featuring different career clusters, to help you focus on your career(s) of choice! In each exhibit hall, click on the different booths to visit and explore them– you’ll find documents, videos, links, and all sorts of helpful resources. If you find something helpful, add it to your virtual backpack and email it to yourself for future reference. You can use the Exhibitors index or search bar to find a specific booth, or move left and right to visit each booth within a hall.
  • Auditorium: Attend speeches and webinars. Select the screen to see your choices. You will need your Learn From the Experts worksheet to complete the What I Learned column.
  • To participate in the Q&A, visit the booth where you want to ask questions and click on the Q&A button. Type your question into the box and send. Your question will be published after it is read and answered by a volunteer.

Remember:

  • As you find interesting information or helpful resources, add them to your backpack and email it to yourself (or someone in your family).
  • Take advantage of the live date (Wednesday, March 20th) to ask all your career and work-related questions to the volunteers at the different booths!
  • If you will not be able to attend the live date, submit your questions in advance at https://form.jotform.com/Diana_Lee/ja-inspire-questions
  • You can access all recorded content (including Q&A transcripts) on JA Inspire through the end of June 2024. Feel free to visit and revisit as much as you’d like.
  • The Student Code of Conduct: Students are responsible for demonstrating appropriate, considerate, and respectful behavior during the event. All Q&A engagements will be monitored closely. Students demonstrating the following behaviors will be removed from the event with
